Mobile unit mechanic (Gatineau)

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a mechanic to join our mobile unit team. As a mechanic on the road, you will be required to intervene on site, at our customers’ premises, to diagnose and resolve mechanical problems, thus ensuring optimal operation of their vehicles.

Responsibilities:

– Carry out vehicle repairs and maintenance in accordance with industry quality standards;

– Ensure top-notch customer service by answering questions and providing advice;

– Maintain up-to-date files relating to the work carried out and the parts used

– Ensure regular maintenance of the mobile unit to ensure its cleanliness and good condition, as well as to manage the parts inventory

– If necessary, perform any other related task related to the job.

 

Requirements:

– Training in heavy road vehicle mechanics (an asset) or equivalent experience

– Excellent communication and customer service skills

– Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

– PEP card (Asset)

– Valid driving license (class 5)

Workplace: 164 Rue Jean-Proulx, Gatineau, QC J8Z 1V3

Work schedule: 30-50 hours/week, day or evening (depending on needs)
