Heavy vehicules apprentice technicians (Laval/Dorval)

International Rive-Nord is a heavy truck dealership that has been in business for over 70 years. We are currently looking for Heavy Vehicle Diesel Apprentice Technicians in our branches located in Laval and Dorval.

Responsibilities:

– Examine the condition of the trucks to identify worn and damaged parts

– Repair trucks (engine, transmission, electricity)

– Participate in the assembly and disassembly of engines

– Carry out checks on trucks to prevent failures

– Carry out preventive maintenance of trucks

– Check the performance of the truck by carrying out road tests

– Fill in the reports concerning the repairs carried out

– Ensure the cleanliness of the workstation

– If necessary, perform any other related task related to the job.

Requirements & Qualifications:

– DEP in heavy vehicle mechanics

– Have a preventive maintenance card (PEP) (an asset)

– Ability to use diagnostic and repair tools

– Dynamic person

– Willingness to learn

– Analytical mind

– Knowledge of CDK Global/ADP Drive software (an asset)

– Driving licence: class 5 compulsory 1 and 3 optional.
